SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Support the execution of the sales and market access strategy in Southern Cone by identifying access opportunities and barriers, collaborating cross‑functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, and leveraging data analysis and technical documentation to optimize patient access and business outcomes. This includes delivering value‑added solutions and establishing long‑term relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the design and implementation of the sales and market access strategy in Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay), ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities and access barriers, proposing innovative solutions to optimize treatment coverage and availability.
• Exchange information and conduct data analysis with local partners and stakeholders to protect purchase compliance and accelerate patient access.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (commercial, medical, regulatory, PAGs, PSP, regional market access) to ensure integrated execution.
• Monitor the healthcare environment, including public policies, market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes, anticipating potential business impacts.
• Provide support in data collection and preparation of technical documents to strengthen market access initiatives and decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement integrated account plans for key customers including value/added programs aligned with Business Plan in collaboration with the Commercial Team and Access Manager.
• Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, Code of Conduct, and all legal and compliance requirements.
• Proactively identify, develop, and implement innovative models and programs that enhance commercial performance and business impact.
SCOPE
Under the guidance of the Assoc. Market Access Director, the KAM will be responsible and will contribute to the revenue of the country.
Minimal capital investment (computer and other equipment to perform job functions, etc.).
Costs will be incurred in this position through required travel.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or science discipline – required
• Upper‑intermediate level of English – required
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as a Key Account Manager in high-cost pharmaceutical products, managing payers and wholesalers in Argentina
• Pharmaceutical industry experience (3+ years) – preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 40%
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (MoH, HMOs, wholesalers, etc.)
• In depth knowledge of the Argentine healthcare system
• Strong understanding of market access processes in Argentina, with a strategic mindset
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• High level of autonomy, with the ability to self-motivate and meet deadlines
• Independently reviews and analyzes scientific and technical information, and develops high‑quality technical documents and study dossier
• Ability to assess stakeholder needs and translate insights into actionable plans
• Strong judgment to prioritize issues and take timely, appropriate action
